WHY AM I RUNNING?

When I was 19 years old the horrific events of September 11th happened. I left the comfort of college and enlisted in the Marine Corps to answer the call to service. Today our community faces a different set of challenges and once again.

I find myself in a position to answer another call to service.

It’s time for bold, new tax reform

For too many families in Virginia, particularly Northern Virginia, the overall cost of living and the stresses incurred from historic pressures of inflation have made it difficult to live in the Commonwealth.

Community Leader Endorsement

“I am happy to endorse my good friend, James Thomas, for the Virginia House of Delegates. Like me, James served our Nation and is ready to go to work in service to the residents of the 10th district. I know that he will work every day to reduce the cost of living, end the flow of fentanyl into our communities, and restore excellence in our schools! I encourage everyone to support James and let’s send him to Richmond to go to work for us.”

Harold Pyon
Korean Community Leader

Right now our community is facing crushing cost of living; declining standards in our schools; a troubling increase in crime; and a severe mental health crisis. So, I’m running because I’m answering the call to address these challenges and Move Virginia Forward.
